The Sims 2 All Expansion Packs All Stuff Packs BETTER Download Pc: Discover the Hidden Secrets and E

Hi Cindy, this might be helpful to folks in the UK. I had the original base game CD but was able to get all the expansion and stuff packs from a company called CEX which sells second hand electronics, CD, DVD Games etc. I had a look in person in a few of the shops to get a good number of the packs and then was able to get the remainder online:

The Sims 2 is a 2004 strategic life simulation video game developed by Maxis and published by Electronic Arts. It is the second major title in The Sims series, and is the sequel to The Sims.[1] The game was released for Microsoft Windows on September 14, 2004, and a port for MacOS was released on June 17, 2005. Eight expansion packs and nine "stuff packs" were subsequently released between 2005 and 2008.[c] In addition, versions of The Sims 2 were released on various consoles and mobile platforms, including the Nokia Ovi Store. A sequel, The Sims 3, was released in June 2009.[2][3]

The game contains some time-bound social challenges that provide a reward if successful. Sims can throw parties to gain aspiration points or invite the headmaster over for dinner in order to enroll their children in private school.[9] Some expansion packs have new mini-games, like running a Greek house in University or dating in Nightlife. In Nightlife, each date is a challenge to keep both Sims as happy as possible while accumulating aspiration points. Various other expansion packs introduce supernatural characters which Sims can be turned into, such as Zombies, Vampires, Werewolves, PlantSims, and Witches.

On August 7, 2014, Aspyr Media released The Sims 2: Super Collection as digital download exclusively available at the Mac App Store; the game was updated for OS X Mavericks, 4K and Retina. This compilation only includes the first six expansion packs and the first three stuff packs. Aspyr stated they were unable to include the remaining packs for the game due to licensing conflicts with EA. Like the Ultimate Collection, no new updates on when the remaining packs will be released separately or as a single add-on to the Super Collection have emerged.

In later expansion and stuffpacks, well-known recording artists provided "Simlish" versions of their songs for the in-game radio stations, including Depeche Mode, Kajagoogoo, Lily Allen, Datarock, Plain White T's, and Katy Perry, among others.[29][30][31] "Pressure" by Paramore, "Don't Cha" by The Pussycat Dolls, "Good Day" by Tally Hall, and "Like Light to the Flies" by Trivium were among the songs re-recorded by their original artists in Simlish for the console version of The Sims 2.[32]

Prior to Thompson's statement, there was an enterable code which allowed to modify the size (including to zero) of pixelation accessible from the console menu. Shortly after the statement, subsequent patches and expansion packs removed the "intProp censorGridSize" code; this code had been left over from the beta testing stage of the original game and had not been intended for a public audience.

The Sims 2 expansion packs provide additional game features and items. Eight expansion packs were released throughout the game's lifecycle. The Sims 2: Apartment Life is the final expansion pack for The Sims 2.

Stuff packs are add-ons that intend to add only new items (usually in the amount of 60) to the base game. However, some releases include certain gameplay elements introduced in previous expansion packs. There are ten total stuff packs. However, The Sims 2: Holiday Party Pack served as the pilot release for this line of products, which were called "booster packs". After the success of the pilot release, EA named the releases "stuff packs" and launched the line with The Sims 2: Family Fun Stuff. The Sims 2: Mansion & Garden Stuff is the final stuff pack for The Sims 2.

Most of expansion packs and stuff packs were released with pre-order items. This game content was redeemable at the official site using a code supplied by the retailer from which the player purchased, each retailer was often associated with an exclusive download. A total of 60 pre-order items were released.

The Sims 2 Store was an online store where players of The Sims 2 for PC could purchase and download content for their game online for additional fees. It offered objects, clothing, skins, and hairstyles that are both exclusive to the store and also come from earlier expansion and stuff packs.

The modern bedroom set, in fact, is just about the best furniture option in all the expansion packs, stuff packs, and original game combined. Combining a decent cost and high need meter recovery, the modern bed especially is damn near the best value in the whole game.

All in all, the Stuff Packs are made for one specific breed of gamer: the hardcore Sims 2 fan. If you're just a casual Sims 2 player, then you can probably forgo the Stuff Packs in favor of expansion packs, which are $10 more expensive, but have the gameplay improvements to warrant the cost.

There are four levels of DLC available for The Sims 4: expansion packs, game packs, stuff packs, and kits. We'll go into detail about what each type offers further down the page, but for now, here are the raw costs in all their horrifying glory:

Expansion packs are the priciest pieces of DLC for The Sims 4, but they also add the most content. If you're interested in their features, it's fair to say that any of the expansion packs are worth investing in.

As I said above, there are no bad choices for The Sims 4 expansion packs if you're interested in what they offer. I will say though that if you aren't planning to focus on their specific gameplay additions, you can probably afford to skip Get to Work, Discover University, and Get Famous.

Game packs are DLC that are generally lighter in new features than expansion packs, but they're still a little more substantial than stuff packs. Currently there are 12 game packs available, each featuring a range of stuff for your Sims to do, from visiting vacation destinations to solving a mystery about your local neighbourhood.

Stuff packs are the smallest full DLC packs for The Sims 4. Generally you'll only get new objects and clothing options in each one, but there are exceptions that include a new career, new skills, and more. Since there are a whopping 18 stuff packs, it can be confusing which ones are worth investing in.

Since there are so many stuff packs available, it can be hard to work out which ones are the best buys. I personally prefer a little extra gameplay along with my new CAS and Build Mode items, so my top picks are Tiny Living Stuff (which adds micro-home building challenges), Paranormal Stuff (which adds the Paranormal Investigator career), the real-world brand tie-in Moschino Stuff (which adds the Fashion Photographer freelance career), and Nifty Knitting Stuff (which adds knitting as a major new skill with unique craftable items).

Beyond those four, which stuff packs you prefer will probably come down to your personal aesthetic and which areas of Build Mode you're eager to expand. A word of caution if you're thinking of buying My First Pet Stuff, though: you also need to have the Cats & Dogs expansion installed in order to use all its features. This is currently the only DLC for The Sims 4 for which there's a prerequisite beyond owning the base game, and it's something to bear in mind.

A number of game packs for The Sims 4 also came with new worlds, albeit mostly smaller than the expansion pack worlds. Vampires introduced Forgotten Hollow, a one-neighborhood world created primarily for the game pack's new life state, vampires, to live in. StrangerVille introduced StrangerVille, a desert-like residential world inspired by the American southwest. Realm of Magic introduced an alpine wooded small world named Glimmerbrook, as well as the secret world of The Magic Realm. Werewolves introduced Moonwood Mill, a small forest town created primary for the game pack's new life state, werewolves, to stay at. Outdoor Retreat, Jungle Adventure and Journey to Batuu introduced the vacation-only worlds of Granite Falls, Selvadorada, and Batuu respectively.

On October 22, 2019, EA announced the eighth expansion pack for the game: The Sims 4: Discover University. It reintroduces the college experience to the game, and adds robots, roommates, new careers, the new campus world of Britechester, where two rival universities are located, and acts as a spiritual successor to previous college-themed expansion packs from The Sims games, including The Sims 2: University and The Sims 3: University Life.

A new pack type called "kits" were introduced in March 2021. They are smaller and cheaper than stuff packs and feature a very small selection of objects, clothes or gameplay within a very specific theme.[16] Nineteen kits have been released so far.

Since porting those 9 EPs/SPs on disk a few years ago, Aspyr stopped porting expansion packs due to contracting and licensing agreements with EA, as EA now does all PC and Mac ports for games in house (like TS3). Aspyr since released the Super Collection and hence only included the Expansion + Stuff Packs they have ported (9/18).

Since the release of The Sims 4, players have seen eleven different expansion packs, covering a range of topics and adding various new features to the game. Each one brings something new to the table, with focuses including pets, new careers, different lifestyles, and, of course, extreme weather conditions.

It's not just things like new Create-a-Sim and build mode items that The Sims 4's expansion packs bring with them though, but also new gameplay mechanics, and, in some cases, even brand new worlds. But which ones offer the best value for money and do some expansions add more to the game than others? Well, here, those questions are answered and all of The Sims 4 expansion packs are ranked. 2ff7e9595c
